eTwinning project: The Art of Upcycling

Učenici 7.a i 7.b razreda aktivno sudjeluju u eTwinning projektu The Art of Upcycling. Projekt traje od siječnja do svibnja 2025. godine.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

“The Art of Upcycling” eTwinning project aims to encourage students to creatively reuse waste materials to design eco-friendly and aesthetic products. While teaching the importance of recycling, this project will enable students to understand the environmental benefits of transforming waste and adopting sustainable lifestyles. Participants will collaborate with peers from different countries to develop creative designs and projects. The project also aims to increase students’ environmental awareness, develop their innovative thinking skills, and promote international cultural interaction. In this process, students will become more conscious individuals regarding their individual and social responsibilities and will grow as active citizens.
The project, enriched with Web 2.0 tools (e.g., Padlet, Canva), will allow students to develop skills in different disciplines by integrating lesson outcomes into activities.

These activities will be showcased on Twinspace pages and enriched with various Web 2.0 tools. We will publicize the activities through the school website, news, and exhibitions to reach a broader audience.
By the end of the project, we aim to help students develop eco-friendly lifestyle habits, enhance their creative thinking and innovation skills, and increase their social responsibility awareness. Furthermore, students will concretize their understanding of recycling and the importance of reusing waste through creative projects, contributing more to the environment.
