
Our 6th graders joined a very interesting eTwinning project Let’s Meet and Learn with students and teachers from six European countries. Here is the description of the project, and we are looking forward to meeting new friends and learning English.
A SHORT DESCRIPTION
This project is an engaging initiative aimed at fostering collaboration and learning among students from diverse cultural backgrounds. In this project, students between 7 and 12 years old will meet and learn with together. The project integrates innovative activities such as using Web.2 tools, interactive games to enhance communication in English, teamwork, drama workshops to build creativity. Students are introduced to modern language learning techniques that support independent and group learning, encouraging them to develop lifelong learning skills.
Objectives of the projects:
1. Introducing oneself in English
2. Learning to use web 2.tools and other digital tools./Incorporate techonology
3. Support raising bilingual individuals
4. Meeting other children who speak English as a second language and communicating with them./Collaborative learning.
5. Learning with interactive games and drama work.
6. Creating cultural awareness.
7. Encouraging self confidence building.
8. Develop students’ language skills
WORK PLAN
We aim to work with partners in cooperation and students will be active in this project. We plan to use Twinspace page actively and contact our participants from there. We plan to create mixed teams and the students will do the activities under the guidance of partners/teachers. They will upload the materials, videos and pictures on Twinspace pages.

1. Creating and playing an interactive English grammar and vocabulary game with Mentimeter
2. Preparing other country’s traditional food to get to know different cultures
3. Students will write a letter or an e-mail to eachother to strengthen communication in English.

1. Performing a traditional story in English from their own culture.
2. Preparing digital English dictionary as a result of collaborative work.
3. Evaluation of the Project (teachers and parents)
4. Organizing final online webinar
EXPECTED RESULTS
We plan to create Digital English Pictionary with mixed school teams and publish on school page. We also plan to publish on National Education page so the other schools will be informed about our project.
Expected result of the project:
1. Students will be able to develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing
2. Students will feel more confident using English
3. Students will achieve noticable progress in pronunciation and fluency
4. Students will develop an appreciation for different cultures
5. Students will be able to enhance their skills in using digital tools, web 2 tools and eTwinning platform
